Review summary

This was our first cruise and we were really looking forward to making it to Jamaica. Something happened on the ship and we had to turn around which we both understood but then we were going to Jamaica then not going to Jamaica and ended up in the Cayman Islands. There was a lot of confusion as to what was going on later on that evening her that people have received money back other people would get a discount on other tickets. Then I read in the news once we get to Miami that we were supposed to receive a 20% off which I have still yet to see. The atmosphere was fantastic on the ship the food was great but the lack of communication was really bad.

Cabin / Stateroom

The twin beds pushed together was a problem as they kept sliding apart and the toilet smell of urine most of the trip. The room service was great.

Ship tip

Be prepared to pay gratuity per person in the amount of about $65. Most things are free on the ship but the drinking at the bar was pretty expensive. The food is great and there are a lot of things to do that do cost money so make sure you have plenty of money to spend.

When they miss a port, they typically refund the port fees and any excursions booked thru Carnival. But that goes back on your Sail-n-Sign account as a credit.

You should check with the cruise line, or your travel agent.
