Review summary

Overall, the 3 of 4 days of our cruise was very enjoyable.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was so quick and easy. We got our negative tests on site and were on the ship quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was great and plenty to choose from. Loved the Shaq’s Big chicken addition. The buffet was sparse but was due to only 680 something people on board.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We found plenty to do but we mostly sat by pools and read. Casino was fun and we won a bit.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The new show Spellbound was good. Comedians were really good and was busy for adult shows.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I thought the refit to the Radiance was good. Much classier than the previous Inspiration and Imagination but they also had their charm.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a suite for this cruise- 7294. There was plenty of space and storage.

Ship tip

We did the responsible thing by staying in our cabin and getting tested. We were actually shocked when it came back positive. (Triple vaxxed, always masked and careful) Carnival was very professional about the whole thing and the nurse was amazing. I would just hope others get tested too if they are questioning feeling off while on board. I know it will cut your cruise short but keep others safe.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
My spouse wasn’t feeling well (fluey and stuffy nose) on day 3 so we stayed in cabin until we got tested. It was positive so were moved from our suite to the quarantine deck for our last night. (Escorted) We were given free wifi to pass the time in the ocean view room and dining room food. We were credited back the booze package and one day FCC. For disembarkation we had to wait until everyone was off and got to do the escorted ‘Walk of Shame’ off the ship. The whole thing was a bit embarrassing but Carnival were helpful and professional about everything.
