Review summary

It was OK at best. I'll never go back on this ship. Very small. You can feel every single wave. Lack of things to do made it feel like a very long cruise.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We made it on the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was a disappointment at best & disaster at worst

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The lack of onboard activities was very obvious. If you've sailed ANY other ship, you'll be left wanting.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The band connected to the casino was amazing. The stage show felt very staged and forced. Nothing worth noting about daytime lido deck entertainment as there wasn't much at all.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Some was great, most acted as if they didn't want any interaction

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship's layout was very different from most, I'm sure because of how extremely tiny it is.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Was enough room for 2 adults. Pieces were broken or missing but it is an old ship, I guess.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

I'm from Tampa

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

They had to send us to Key West instead. It wasn't enjoyable as I'm ALWAYS there

Cozumel, Mexico

I'm here often so I typically go local. Skip the tourist traps & go eat at an actual local restaurant

Living in Tampa, this is our quick go to. Personally, I felt the waves a lot more on the Celebration than on the Paradise both times I've been on it.

We've been out of Tampa several times and have several choices of port. We like Tampa the best for super easy parking and boarding. We don't like the mega ships so obviously that's another reason why we like Tampa.

I feel your pain living in Tampa and being at the mercy of a bridge. I live 45 minutes from Jax, and I'm stuck with the Elation. It's time for the cruise lines to build a few smaller ships that will fit under these bridges.

I was on the ship the same time. It was a smaller ship than I normally take. What do you expect out of Tampa? They can't get larger ships to come in because of the Skyway Bridge. It was ok. I stayed busy. It was not the best cruise I have been on. The singing was very good, I enjoyed the Comedians and the food wasn't that bad. Uncle Johnny kept me laughing.

I never had that problem on that Ship or the others in the same Class. I did serve on Destroyers in the Navy and they were half the size. You may just have an inner ear problem, that makes you feel that way. Please don't give up on cruising.

Sorry you were not happy, but sounds like my kind of ship.

Been out of Tampa many times, it is one of the fastest and easiest embarkation if not THE fastest and easiest!
