Review summary

This was our 30th anniversary cruise and we had no complaints about the ship or staff. Unfortunately, some of the guests were disappointing. There is a dress code in the dining room and although there are other casual options, many guests dressed inappropriately even on formal night. This somewhat lessens this experience for the staff and other guests.

We ate in the main dining rooms for breakfast and lunch. The food and service was excellent with no complaints.

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed reading a book by the pool, playing bingo, comedy shows, slot machines, and the nightly musical show!

Entertainment

The musical shows each night were top notch and the bands and DJ’s were very enjoyable.

Children's Programs

We had no children on board.

Service and Staff

The staff was excellent! In the dining room, our waiters took very good care of us and it was such a treat to be served. Our cabin stewardess went above and beyond and the staff as a whole was very friendly and helpful.

Although the ship was older, it was very well maintained and was very accommodating to all of our needs. We would go again.

Our cabin was spotless and very comfortable.

Ship tip

Take advantage of the dining room. It is fun to get to know your staff and table mates. And don’t let the age of the ship discourage you as Paradise was very well kept up.

We rented a keep and drive around the island visiting a public beach. We have been there before but otherwise we would have taken an excursion.

no cruise line enforces the dining attire. I've seen swim wear on rcl which was surprising. However, how others dress doesn't make my steak any better and ruins my experience

My daughter and I were on Paradise in February. We noticed the sloppy attire in the main dining area as well! The Maitre d should have kindly asked them to leave the dining room. Aside from people dressed like they were at a bowling alley, we loved the cruise:)
