Overall we had fun! But we make our own fun! The staff try hard, but they seemed overworked! The ship was definitely clean, but compact!

1.I did not care for the decor, but that petty and who cares.
2. The staff seemed exhausted.
3. It's the exact same menu as every other Carnival ship and they really need to change things up.
Now for the important things!! The hostess was as rude, no other word to describe her. We did our time dining every night. The app only allows you to check 10 people, we had a party of 11. We had to tell them every evening we have 11. We forgot on the final evening and instead of saying "no worries", she proceeded to quote the rules to us and stated "it's in black and white on the app if you would read it".
We also asked for lids to our plates to snack on later and we're looked at like we had 2 heads and were told "they don't allow that". Since when? We cruise twice a year and have NEVER had an issue.
We usually LOVE the wait staff the first night and request them every night, however, this staff seemed exhausted and very unhappy. We were blessed the final night with ONE sweet server who actually had a smile on his face. Carnival should NOT work their staff for 7 months at a time! It definitely effects the atmosphere of the entire cruise when the staff are this exhausted.

The stage performance was some of the best I've ever seen! And we enjoyed every show! The comedians however were very lackluster, which was sad because that's one of our favorite parts.
Children's Programs

We had 15-17 year Olds who stated there was absolutely NOTHING for them to do besides play video games they could have stayed at home to do. There were no dance club times for them with a DJ, no special Lido Deck fun, nothing! Very disappointing.
Service and Staff

I'll give a 3 here for our room steward Ruel and his team only!
The Guest service staff gave us different information every time we went there. It took us 3 out of 5 days just to get my children's account to where they could use it. We were told we could set a daily limit, then we couldn't, then limits changed. It was ridiculous!
Half the bartenders refused to give me soda without ice. I have sensitive teeth, and can't drink cold soda. Not sure why this was an issue?
I understand there are protocols, but this was unnecessary. We were in the EFFY shop multiple times a day and found on on the last day they were selling the Fun Saver charms. When I stated i was surprised because no one had told us, and asked for a bracelet, I was told no, they didn't do that. If i wasn't there at the event, I just missed out. We have spent THOUSANDS of dollars in EFFY shops, and their staff are my absolute favorite of crew members on all the ships we've cruised, until now. Overall I found the staff un-informative and down right rude!
Ship Quality

I would have given a 5 star here except there was a dog on the ship who had a couple of accidents. NO, not the staff's fault but I wish they had more areas for the pups. We saw 1 small place, and I believe there should be MANY more!
Cabin / Stateroom

This is where the ship excelled in my opinion! Loved the layout, wish all ships still used this one! Outside of missing the bathroom vanity area, I was overall thrilled! And the AC blowed icy cold!! Mattress could use an upgrade, but it was still great!
Ship tip
This is a smaller ship, and there is A LOT of rocking! If you're sensitive to this, bring meds! And remember, a cruise is what YOU make of it. We may have had a few hiccups with staff, but we always make sire we have a good time!
One of the best! So much to do! Even juat at the port, there is plenty to keep you occupied! Taxi's offer great tours at reasonable rates! Make sure to see Martin and Carlos!!
