Review summary

I hope this did not come across as negative as almost everything really was fine. The only exception being the temperature in the ship and that could have been our fault as we did not bring warm to wear, it was just so uncomfortable that we just did not want to move and thus did not do much.The cruise director, Todd, was one of the better ones I have cruises with. My next cruise is in November and I will be prepared with warm clothes in the suitcase!

Embarkation

Traveling with friend that needed wheelchair help during embarkation. We had to wait for about 20 after checking in as Coast Guard was doing an inspection, but the gentleman pushing the wheelchair was wonderful!

Service was wonderful. Would have liked a little more variety with the desserts.

Onboard Activities

This was a to be a restful cruise so was not planning too much. Did play bingo, trivia the shows and of course the casino.

Entertainment

Enjoyed the comedy show. The two productions in the theater were almost the same. Both nights had an 80’s music theme. As I am too old for 80’s music, a bit more variety would have been appreciated more.

Ship Quality

Ship, with the 8th floor’s design, made for many extra elevator trips as we always were on the wrong floor for the first few days till we figured it out! The ship was always being cleaned.

Cabin / Stateroom

Quite small but had everything we needed. My one complaint was the room was freezing the whole trip. The room steward changed the fan on the ceiling, but the room never warmed up. We were on the 6th floor and as soon as you got off the elevator you could feel the drop in temperature.
