Review summary

It's time to move on to another cruise line. We think Carnival has given up. The entertainment and food used to be top notch. We looked forward to this trip after the pandemic and we were so disappointed with Carnival.

Restaurant staff was great. After many Carnival cruises this food was the worst ever. If you would like steak than you had to pay $23.00 at dinner for it. Who offers chicken and salmon at every meal. My wife and I were so disappointed we started eating at the buffet but this food was terrible also. We ended up eating sandwiches and salads. Bacon was offered once for breakfast ???

Onboard Activities

So bored. The pool was so overcrowded. It was miserable.

Entertainment

Every time a dance party was offered. It was fun but only lasted a half hour and then everyone left. The music stopped. What was that all about? Just a half hour every night? This cruise had the worst entertainment ever. One show was identical to a show we saw before. Loved the Cruise Director Todd but he became obnoxious with doing his job and selling something on the ship. No one wants to hear the loudspeaker every hour.

I was on the Paradise recently also and was VERY disappointed. Main dining room food was tasteless unseasoned, miniscule portions, waiters never engaged with us as they usually do, the worst entertainment to date and I've been on over 25 cruises. Ive been on 4 cruises since the pandemic with Royal Caribbean and had nothing but wonderful things to say. I think im done with Carnival.

Many of your complaints are issues that all cruise lines are experiencing now. Read reviews from other cruise lines and you will see complaints about for service, bad food, bad entertainment, canceled ports or excursions, etc. Cruising is not the same as it was prior to Covid.
