Cruising not for everyone. If you're into a faster pace lifestyle or expect meeting a partner for life like on the Love Boat, that's not cruising. Carnival is just like it sounds, a carnival for kids or young at heart. Many other cruises are a very slow low pace especially for the elderly. We go to be pampered and relax. If your expectations are too high and want the romance or keeping busy all the time, that too isn't cruising. I'm not talking about you, but I know some people that can't sit and relax on cruise ships. They get bored. Take it from a guy that's been on 45 cruises. It's time to relax and enjoy being pampered. Good Luck to you. P.S. Princess Cruise Lines has been my choice of cruiselines for the past 18 cruises. Too many kids and drunks on Carnival to relax.
