Review summary

Will certainly cruise on Paradise again. Great crew and accommodations. Super fast embarkation. Refreshing updates and toned down colour schemes. Awesome ship.

Food and Dining

Clean and efficient. Could do with more choices on Lido buffet. There wasn’t much room down the side entrances from the pool area due to the large fixed features opposite the tables in those 2 corridors.

Very clean and the food was plentiful. Our waiter Iwayan from Indonesia was superb. His contract finishes soon and he needs to be part of this team upon his return.

The entertainment troop were excellent. Carnival has certainly upped its game in content and quality. Production and choreography were much improved from previous cruises. DJ Randy J was awesome. Again, many contracts ended today.

Overall layout great. A pity the casino couldn’t be isolated in its own closed venue to stop smoke drifting through surrounding common areas and family areas. Very surprised how clean the ship was.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very comfortable for our first seaview cabin. Pleasant colours and materials since the upgrades in 2018. The window was probably an original from 1998 so it was stained and we were unable to look out. New style mattress and linens made for a pleasant sleep. Thank god the old orange carpets were updated the the dark patterned blue.
