Review summary

Generally good cruise. Cabin was very small for three of us in the family. And the fact that RCI and Carnival could not keep their promise about the agreed upon cabin in reservation is very disappointing!!!

very small, this is the major complaint I have about this trip. The RCI Cruise Travel Professional Kendra Depril with Extension: 36669, promised us in a email message saying "Wed, Nov 20, 2019 at 7:01 PM Kendra DePril wrote: Mr. Ding, It was a pleasure working with you to plan your family vacation. I was able to secure cabin E134 on the Carnival Paradise, sailing December 26th from Tamps. The cabin will be held until 11/21 7:30 PM Eastern Standard time. As I explained I will be out of the office tomorrow and Friday, however please call the RCI Cruises number and speak to any representative, let them know we have spoken and I have held the cabin for you can reference booking #42926804. Again, it was a pleasure speaking with you and I know you will have a great vacation. Kendra Depril Travel Professional Extension: 36669" But when I called back on 11/21 before noon time, the RCI agent who picked up the call, refused to honor the promise by Kendra Depril, and instead booked cabin U99 with confirmation number 425-42926804. The way RCI and Carnival handle this reservation is unacceptable. They promised and refused to honer the promise. Please provide me an email address so that I can forward you the original email messages from Kendra Depril, with her promise, so that you can know the whole situation. The fact that RCI and Carnival can not keep their promise when I did everything correctly on my side, has disappointed me very much. Please do something to make it up!!!

This would be an issue for your travel agent not carnival. Carnival did not book it or promise anything.

Sorry about your bad booking experience. I've found the best way to book on carnival is to use the website to price check cabins until I find what I'm looking for. Then I call our Carnival booking agent and have her do the actual booking process. Then I email her each month to see if the price has dropped and if so, she refunds us. Very easy and then you know the cabin is guaranteed.

I’m not sure who you are expecting to contact you from this website or app, since it is not affiliated with a travel agency or Cruise Line. It’s probably not the smartest thing to do to put phone numbers and email addresses on a public website either.
