This was a trip we booked quickly due to availability of our work schedules. I would have preferred specialty dining, larger pool areas and better main dining food. Overall though, it was a great stateroom, nice ship and we enjoyed the get away.
The Chef excursion was FANTASTIC!!! So much fun...in fact, we both agree that this 'saved the cruise' for us. Chef Luis and his team were very entertaining, made great margarita's and swimming in the pool afterwards was perfect.

Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Main dining food was okay but not great. On the last night I sent back my main entree for another. The 2nd was pretty good but all except for the Guy's Burger was just OK. In fact, if I were at home in a Restaurant, I would either not stay or just not return.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The only area we liked was the serenity adult area. Quiet, back of the ship, lounge chairs, 2 hot tubs and someone to bring you drinks.
The pool was the size of a large private pool at someone's home and was packed with people. We did not go in or sit around the pool other than to have a burger or walk and sit for a few minutes.
It's really the SPA that was an HUGE disappointment! From the appearance (plan, somewhat messy), to the first interaction at the desk (pushy sales and employees arguing with each other in front of guests), the pedicure was OK but she used a foot scrapper (had to stop her), only had 5 bottles of color to choose from, didn't soften the gel nail polish before scraping off and the area was dark. I will say that my sister had a hair treatment that was just OK but the hairstylist was good, kind, smart and not too pushy with the products she presented.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
We attended the singing show where they performed rock songs. Great athletes and good signing. The bar entertainment was just OK.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Agus, our room steward was fast, friendly, accessible, accommodating. The overall personnel we encountered were nice and friendly.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was very clean and there was always someone around to make sure it stayed that way. My sister smokes and liked the veranda area. (Level 11? outside) I joined her sometimes and it was VERY clean considering there were ashtrays at each sitting area.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our room was small (with a balcony) but once we moved one of the twins against the wall (thanks to the advice of a review I read before the trip!) it was very spacious. Even the bathroom was laid out well with a shelf above the sink that was enough for mine and my sisters bathroom items. The room was very clean, plenty of storage space. Enjoyed the stateroom most of all.
Ship tip
This is a ship for those that like to gamble, don't mind the crowed pool areas and don't care about fine dining (specialty dining)
Lived in the St Pete area so I know the area. I will say that this port is one of the easiest ports I've used. And, you can see the aquarium before or after your cruise.
We went directly from the shops (standard port shops) to our excursion and back. Our excursion was the highlight of our trip. "Tabasco Chef" Luis was so entertaining! His entire staff made us feel special and took great care of us. I highly recommend!!
