I loved this cruise as a first time cruiser. I think it would get a bit boring if I did it more than once because there were two days at sea and only one port day, but I was very satisfied and it was well worth the money.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Wonderful! We got Faster to the Fun and it made embarkation a breeze, even with a two year old in a stroller. The only thing I would change is that my party's birthdates were wrong so we had to stop at guest services to fix them.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The specialty dining in the Destiny was absolutely amazing! Our dining room team Anoma, Dewa and Mark were wonderful and really made our party feel great. They were all extremely attentive to our needs. The buffets had good food, but we often chose the specialty dining over them unless it was odd hours of the night. My two year old especially loved the Dr. Seuss breakfast and couldn't get over seeing the Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2 characters. I highly recommend it, since it's only 5$ per person.
Onboard Activities

I really enjoyed the saltwater pool and the 21+ serenity deck, while my 2 year old was all about the waterworks splash zone.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
I went to several shows and loved them. I didn't listen to many of the DJs or performers, but the ones that I did were interesting enough. I particularly like any show with Leon because he really got the crowd involved with his humor.
Children's Programs

The Camp Ocean staff was amazing! My daughter didn't want to come home every night. We paid for 2 hours of Night Owls and it was definitely worth the price. I think it was around 8 or 9 dollars per hour per child.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Like I said before, our dining room team Anoma, Dewa and Mark in the Destiny were wonderful and were very attentive to our large party. Our room steward I Putu was super friendly and always very happy to help us with anything. He set up a trundle bed for my 2 year old while we were gone and the room was always spotless when we returned every night.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The cleanliness was great, but in terms of layout I wish Camp Ocean had more elevators to get to it. Only one set of elevators goes up to the 12th floor and they were often very busy, so it was hard to take my 2 year old up the stairs from our room on the 6th floor.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Small, yet comfortable and clean. A very cheap way to get from point A to point B while enjoying the same benefits that all the other passengers do.
