Review summary

There is nothing more relaxing that hearing the ocean and having the sun kiss your skin. The deck chairs on the ship were way to cramped together tho, and there was only one small little pool. Never any space on the "Serenity" Deck and they only had hot tubs in that area. They tell you to enjoy a deck chair, but it you don't get out early in the a.m. and put your towel on one to save it, you will not have a place to enjoy later on.

Went smoothly and quickly!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We opted to buy the "Cheers" package and it was wonderful to know we could get as many specialty coffees, exotic fruity drinks, wine, and/or soda's you'd like (up to 15) each day and not have to worry about a bill at the end. We did the math, and it seemed to pay for itself, given the cost of alcoholic drinks on any cruise ship!

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

ANDY servicing our Jr. Suite Cabin V4 on the Carnival Paradise was truly amazing!!! WE LOVE YOU ANDY!

Ship Quality

On the smaller side with not much outdoor seating area to sit.

Cabin / Stateroom

For a junior suite... we felt like we were missing some of the cabin! It was smaller than I had anticipated, bathroom had no room to put out your makeup or toiletries. Disappointed for something they call a Jr. Suite! Our balcony was also very tiny and we had a huge contraption in front of our balcony that obstructed our view.

Ship tip

Opt for a REAL Suite and hopefully you will get a larger room.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

Tired of the excursions and the people (I know, I understand cruising has people), but everything was always a cost. A taxi ride ($5.00), $2.00 to get onto the beach... just so tired of paying for everything... Soon we will have to pay for the air we breath.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Adorable town, but very tired of the paying to access a beach.

Cozumel, Mexico

Disappointed in the beach we went to (UVAS) from an excursion we took via Carnival. The chocolate demonstration was amazing and very informative and cool!

Disembarkation
