Review summary

This is my first cruise with Carnival. I bought two excursions. One was feeding and petting sting rays and the second one was the Maya sport event with lunch. My family enjoyed both and the ship was clean, great service, and had plenty of onboard entertainment.

I liked the layout but only complaint is I wish the main pool was 25%-50% larger. It wasn't really functional for swimming or family experience. However the design was mainly for pool partying. You couldn't have your children swim in it as it was standing only because of the crowd. But on the aft side there were water slides for the children.

Cabin / Stateroom

I had the interior cabin and won't do that again. However, it was clean and functional. I personally need natural light and be able to see out.

Ship tip

Don't expect much from the internet services. If you must have then get the cheap package because I got the most expensive and it was very very slow. Sometimes took 30 minutes to load one web page. I spent $80 for 5 days. I worked fine for posting on facebook but anything else it was horrible.
