Review summary

The math is simple - One pool is not enough for 3,000 passengers. Besides the water slides, it is the ONLY place to get relief from the sun. The pool was tiny and the water was disgusting. I got in one time and it was like I was bathing in everyone’s sweat, hair products, and tanning oil. Terrible decision for them to remove the other pools without replacing them. Instead, they have 4 hot tubs to raise your temperature even more. Dumb.......

No pool means outside is miserable... we resorted to laying at the bottom of one of the slides so we could get splashed when kids came down. Of course, we then had to deal with other people’s kids...ugh...

Ship Quality

There is only one pool on this ship, and it is disgustingly crowded. They took the other pools out to build a water park that is pretty cool if you are 12 and under. Otherwise, you are forced to boil in the sun without any relief. They have a serenity deck for adults only, but you’re screwed if you want to cool off because they have two HOT tubs, but no pool or even a shower to cool off in... Will not go on another carnival cruise until this blatantly obvious issue is handled.

Cabin / Stateroom

Don’t do 4 people to a room - it is an impossible setup. We made it work, but felt like sardines.

Ship tip

BEWARE! Only one pool on the ship FOR 3000 people

Try msc. Their pools are 6 1/2 feet deep. Kids wont be floppn around in there.

Serenity still has the showers and paradise only had one pool as far i remember. I love this ship was on it 3 times already. If you do not like to be bothered by children please find an adults only cruise or resort.

Guess you went on with a attitude to begin with ...as cruises are for families and people who cruise to have a good time and swimming is one of them ...how dare the kids go on the slide and disturb you ... all cruise ships have small pools you can cool off in the shower next to the pool . if you choose not to go in or go up a deck and lay in the shade looks like you were looking for things to complain about best you stick to land based vacation.. Adult only

Paradise will always be my favorite ship!

When did Serenity deck get rid of the showers? I've been on the Paradise and most of the rest of the Fantasy Class ships and there are showers on the Serenity because I always cool off there. They are located behind the hot tubs...🤔

1- All cruise ships have small pools. 2-Paradise passenger capacity is 2000, not 3000.
