Review summary

If you are looking for really good service onboard, think again about Carnival Paradise. However, our cabin steward (Marvin) was excellent. There is nothing major wrong with this ship -- it just lacks a lot of little quality services found on other ships. The safety drill, as we were leaving port, was a complete and utter mess. No one, including the person making the announcements over the PA system, had a clue what they were doing. Heavens forbid what would happen during an actual emergency.

Our cabin steward (Marvin) was excellant. Onboard communication (announcements) was terrible. The Carnival Hub app was terrible (did not work at all for about 2 days.)

Hand sanitizers were almost non-existant. One at entrance to eating areas and that's it. We had 5 cabins and 3 of the 5 had air conditioning problems which were never fixed.

Sorry you had such a bad experience. Where else would you expect hand sanitzers? I would think that before entering dining areas is probably the optimal location? Happy to hear the room steward met your expectations.

The food at the Paris Lido buffet was terrible. We have sailed on many ships, and this was the worst dining area of all.
