It was just 'OK'. The Boat is old but if its cheap enough go for it. I won't go on it again.

Review summary
Hello,
I went on the Paradise 4/30/2016. It is a smaller ship but that didn't bother me. What bothered me was the ship needs to be refurbished. There was rust on a lot of corners. The carpets were in poor shape. There were stains everywhere. The carpet by the main stairs/elevators smelled like moldy, dank carpets that needed to be thrown out. The food was below par for the buffet. Dinners were mediocre at best. The staff was very pleasant as usual. The room was poor. The covers, sheets and pillows left a HUGE cloud of lint floating in the air if you moved or ruffled them. I mean it was bad. Those linens should've been thrown out or washed better. I have no idea what was wrong with them to make clouds of dust in the air like that. Not just one day either. The entire trip.
In my opinion, the boat is old, dank and needs to either be retired or really, seriously redone. I won't be sailing on that ship ever again. It was nothing like the Liberty I went on. That ship was pretty good.
I have a trip on the Glory scheduled in November. Hope its like the Liberty.
Anyways,
Have a good one!

As you can see from the comments in this review, the admin of this site lets users spam the comment section with off-topic chat. The couple of users that disagree with negative reviews, post reply after reply in an attempt to hijack the review and bring it off-topic. Makes it difficult when looking for honest reviews on this site.

Please don't try to discredit my review. I was on the boat. I experienced it first hand. I even posted pictures of the rusty boat and chipped up railings. The picture of the buffet area clearly shows where a staff member was making cupcakes outside of the kitchen, got up and left them there unattended, then put them out for guests to eat. The buffet towards the back of the boat was so dank because they kept the sliding glass doors open. The A/C would condensate on everything. They had about 6 centrifugal air blowers on the floors trying to dry it out. The picture I posted of the boat clearly shows that this boat does NOT look like the main picture on this site. There is no pretty Red and Blue Carnival logo on the side and the red stripe down the side is faded so bad. Even the name on the side is smaller than what the picture on this site shows. LOOK at the pictures I posted.
Don't try to white knight for Carnival.
I'm being honest in my review. I can post way more pictures and even video.
It wasn't a 'horrible' experience at all. But I just wanted others to know it isn't a clean, pretty ship like the other Carnival ships I've been on.
