Review summary

This was my first cruise and I am pretty sure it will be my last one! My girlfriend and I had water running down the wall in our cabin. The food sucked! We could barely eat anything. We would eat bread, sweets and ice cream because the rest of the food tasted so bad. People on the floor under us had water in the hallways and were complaining. We will not be going on another cruise! I have traveled a lot and lived in Bali, Japan, England and Brazil so I am very familiar with traveling but by air. I can not for the life of me see how anyone could enjoy this! The ports were great by the ship sucked!

The cabin was large and clean except for the water running down the wall it would have been fine.

Don't let your first cruise ruin cruising for you. Try to go on one of the newer ships like carnival Liberty or carnival magic, or carnival Vista (the newest one). Balcony rooms are great.

Just went long with my group & the ship sails from Tampa my home town so I can be at the port in under 5 minutes. No one gets that Paradise is the smallest & oldest in the fleet & with daily use they can wear out.

All I have to say if you don't like Carnival don't cruise with them again but as far as my family and myself we are excited about our next cruise out of Seattle going to Alaska on the Legend and guess what its a Carnival cruise ship

Still on the Paradise, one glass elevator still broke, our party of 12 all sent the food back on one night. One hour show each night that's it. Bathrooms out of order on most public areas & smell. If they want proof of shit on floors I'll post them but these aren't fake.

I cruised the paradise last September there was water leaking over by the seats in the windows by the casino, and it was a lot of water. The ship did seem to need several improvements but we had a great time.

My husband and I were on this ship April 25-30, 2016. And did not have ANY of these experiences. Sorry that your experience was so bad. Definitely try another ship and see if that changes your opinion. We have been on the the Dream, Sunshine, Paradise and have one booked in the Magic for 2017. We have yet to have an issue with a Carnival cruise.

Yup I agree it's fake, there are still people who believe the Paradise sank. lol. Some just like to stir up trouble. Paradise is a beautiful ship that will surely entertain and please.

this post was connected to another that got attacked because it made no sense and seemed like fake complaints. which this one does to. if you have a problem with food, SEND IT BACK! all cruise ships are very accommodating when it comes to food. and as for the water down the walls? really? I HIGHLY doubt that because if it really was then the ship would not be going. every other review is good!

I agree on the smaller ships my last Cruise was on one of those big cruise ships. It was harder to navigate on it.

Royal is my favorite also and I have been on a few others . I am trying Carnival again this time. Mainly going on Carnival this time because of the islands were going on.

Royal doesn't have anything on carnival. Things can happen anywhere. Read some ryal reviews and people complain as much there as they do here

You can still have a good time but after being on the same ship 5 years ago it was disappointing to me. Plus we have been on other ships in the 5 years since I sailed on the Paradise and was just disappointed. It is what you make of it, but everything they said was true. I plan to leave a review with Carnival myself about this sailing.

Yes the Sensation is a poor ship but try the Breeze it is great or another cruise line but try to book a newer ship no matter what I love Carnival but will never get on the Sensation again

I agree with everyone. I just got off this ship as well today. Very disappointed. I was on it 5 years ago and it was so much better. After being on other Carnival ships this does not even come close. Please don't let this ruin cruising for you.

Complain to the cruise line what happened on the ship. They should accommodate you for either a discount or another Free Cruise. Try again on a different ship because this is not normal. I'd be complaining very loudly but nothing was done. For the food part it's not always a five star dining. Sorry you had such a bad time.

Absolutely, try a new ship with more variety of food. And if anything occurs be sure to tell someone. They try to help as much as they can. I have been on 7 all Carnival ..

It's sounds like you had a terrible experience. Let me tell you from experience that is not the normal experience. Before you write off cruising all together, try another cruise line or a newer ship. The Paradise is not one of the best. And in my opinion, it seems to be neglected.

Too bad for your first cruise, we have been on 12 and have never had a problem. The food is always good, not expecting 5 star dining when they need to feed 3000 people in 4 hours for dinner. Cruising isn't for everybody but we find it enjoyable.
