Review summary
Having sailed on Disney and RCCL previously, we had low expectations for Carnival and were a bit worried - and that was completely unnecessary. This cruise far exceeded our expectations and was really fun. The service was as good and in some ways better than Disney. The Bar staff was terrific, and The Chef's Table Dining experience is well worth the additional cost. The sail under the Skyway Bridge is worth the cost of the cruise alone - don't miss it coming and going. Be sure to wake up about 4:30 AM to see the boat return under the bridge. Our only negative was the smokiness of the casino area, but we have booked a 5 day cruise out of Tampa now for next year and are now Carnival Cruise fans.

The Seaday Brunch menu is fantastic - do it whenever you have a day at sea. If you love dining and culinary creations, book the Chef's Table experience - which is well worth the additional cost.
