Review summary

The ship did not make port, because someone got sick. Instead of taken 1 passenger off & giving him medical attention, they made everyone suffer. So we went back to a boring island with nothing to do. They didn't offer comp, besides $10.04 for tax. I believe they made a terrible decision, we was already 7 hours away from the port

If you're sick stay home

i was on that cruise and to defend the reviewer's sentiments a bit (although not the crass expression of them), we were almost as close to cozumel as we were to cayman which is why the decision to turn around was a bit more annoying than it otherwise would have been.  i don't think much time was gained by going back.

wow theses comments....... I have been on the carnival dream n one of the crew had an heart attack and they had to air lift him by the coast guard. thankfully it was our last fun day at sea. I have compassion also, just pray every thing go smooth when we leave in 13 more days

Wow, I hope you never get sick enough on a cruise to warrant a medical evacuation. how selfish can one person be!

I am sorry that you missed a port because someone got sick on board.  I just wonder if you would feel differently if you or one of your young children became seriously ill needing quick medical attention.  No one likes to miss a port, especially me but I try to think in those terms and it makes me feel better about the disappointment.
