Review summary

First the good Boarding and getting situated was very fast and easy The food in the MDR was okay as expected, nothing spectacular with the exception of the chocolate melting cake. Service was okay not spectacular. Entertainment was good two good shows on sea days the rest where not. Comics where mediocre at best. Self service disembarkation was fast The not so good: Buffets where not good food was just plain bland and poor quality Many tables in lido area remained with dirty dishes for long periods of time, I cleaned off a table so that I would have a place to sit. Pizza station was good. Pools where overcrowded and many people reserving chairs very difficult to find a place to sit. In all it was a pretty good cruise --------------------------------------- A non ship related note: beware of Alamo car rental in Cozumel inspect your car really well as they will charge you for any little I mean little scratch on the car. Upon return they not only did a visual inspection they ran their hands over the car for non visual imperfections. It's ridiculous.

Ship tip

The late night comedy show was not very good There as a middle buffet (carving station) between the Mongolian grill and the other side that generally does not have a line or very little.

Good to know! If you leave that tip on the Cozumel page, other members will be able to find it. Just click "Leave a Tip" here: http://cruiseline.com/port/mexico/cozumel-mexico#tips

The other side is not as well maintained as the tourist areas, but is very picturesque. waves and breezy but also very rocky. If you plan on swimming continue about half way around there is a maintained beach area where it seems all the locals go.

Never been to the other side of Cozumel...great idea. And nice pics btw!

Cozumel is by far the best port. In grand cayman there isn't much to do and can't really venture out much because of the short stay. In Cozumel rent a vehicle there are many locations with older vehicles for about 40 per day. Go around the island to the less touristy side, lots of waves really nice

Good tip on the rental car in Cozumel! What was your favorite port?
