Review summary

If you like Vegas, you will probably like this cruise, but don't expect to really see Mexico in Ensenada. Also there are many extra charges for drinks/internet/really fun activities, etc.

Our steward an waiter were excellent. We did have an issue with the spa not telling us there was a 50% cancellation fee for a massage.

Ports of call

Ensenada, Mexico

Convenient but very touristy. We didn't have to change money or speak any Spanish. I think you have to go away from the downtown area to get a more "authentic" view of Mexico.
Don't Miss: Be sure to eat tacos at a taco stand.

Catalina Island, California

The beaches are very crowded but scenic. Don't bother renting a peddle boat unless you like looking at boats up close in the harbor.
Don't Miss: snorkeling was good

Pros: The food was very good.

Cons: It was annoying to be asked if we wanted to take a picture or buy a drink every 10 minutes.
