Review summary

We have sailed with Carnival in the past and it was a great experience that we would never forgot. That's the reason why we wanted to do it again. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience this time. And we have to say "it's a big disappointment."

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
There are only two formal dining restaurants with limited opened hours. The other twos are more casual like fast foods and buffet. And the quality of foods was not good at all.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Limited activities

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
Staff leaders' attitude was very poor, unprofessional, and rude. We really had a serious concern when placing our children under their care.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Guest service + bell boy service + room service were good. Unfortunately, we did not feel the friendly attitude with food service. Last but not least, the Day Camp service + photograph services were the worst. They were so rude, unprofessional, and mean.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The grandsuite we stayed in was old and not good looking. It was not worth the price we paid.

Ports of call

Ensenada, Mexico

1 out of 5
Not much going on at this port. It's not a great spot to stop by.

Pros: Room Serives - response in a good timing

Cons: Customer Services + Foods

Recommends Carnival Paradise? No.
