Not Carnival's Best Ship...

Sail Date: January 31, 2011

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

Older ship, smaller than the other Carnival class of ships. The crew was nice, but the food was not up to par with other ships. They had an $18 charge for the better food in the main dining room! Been on lots of cruises before but NEVER heard of charging for food in the main dining room! "All inclusive" does not mean that on Carnival anymore!

Pros: Sleeping in...

Cons: Having to pay for the Steak & Lobster in the main dining room!

Recommends Carnival Paradise? Yes!

Food and Dining
No where near the food quality of other cruise ships!
On the last night of cruise, no live bands or entertainment...
Ship Quality
Very clean!
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Ensenada, Mexico
They've cleaned up the port a bit!
Don't Miss: Breakfast in the main dining room...
Catalina Island, California
