Review summary

We decided to take our three kids on a family vacation for the Christmas Holiday. We stayed in Long Beach two days before the cruise and enjoyed the beautiful California weather before leaving on the cruise. Once getting on the ship we were very pleased with how clean and well maintained the ship was for how long it's been in service. The staff were great and very nice to our kids. Our waiter shared magic tricks with our kids, which they loved. The food was also very good in the dinning room. It wasn't too fancy but very well prepared. We wished there were more entertainment options on the ship since it seemed we were left with a lot of extra time on our hands to try and find things to do. Many times we ended up grabbing drinks and playing board games with the kids.

The Blow Hole (Bufadora) is a must see! It's about 18 miles from the dock and takes about 3 hours for the full round trip.

Pros: Wonderful Ports and Great Ship

Cons: Too Short
