Review summary

The ship was beautiful but we were there for the overall experience of good food good fun. The food wasn't gourmet and the menu's each night were smudged and dirty. The dinners seemed like re assembled food from the buffet the day before.

The quality of the food was like attending a Hometown buffet each night (and this was in the formal dining room). The menu was the same daily with one or two items that were different each night. Big disappointment that if you wanted something like lobster tail or filet minon you had to pay an additional $18. No midnight chocolate buffet and the only 24hr eating spot was pizza.

Entertainment

I have been on this same cruise 5 times in the past. The variety of entertainment has really gone down. One show, in the Normandie (the biggest theatre with seating for about 400) relied on the guests to come up to the stage to dance to a band in the corner.What kind of entertainment is that. You could easily have hosted that in the bar.

Never met the captain at the 'captain's dinner'. Didn't even know it was the 'captains dinner' until the photograph was displayed for purchase with that title on it. Dining staff was very nice though.
