Review summary

Our first time sailing with Carnival Cruise Lines. Compared to other cruise lines we have been on Carnival appears to be more of a "Party" boat. We observed alcohol being purchased for persons who were obviously under the legal drinking age. And persons who were obviously to intoxicated to even stand or walk. Smell of marijuana was prevelant throughout the ship. When reported staff did not appear interested or trained to deal with the situation. Was told by one staff member that "they could afford to give everyone on the ship a free room, and still make a profit jst on alcohol sales". Staff did not seem to be as friendly as other cruise lines we have cruised on. Except for our room Steward. He was great. Ships hallways smelled like a toilet had overflowed. Ship board sales were poorly organized. Overall if you are looking for party boat this is your ship and cruise line. If you want a more relaxing cuise I would choose another cruise line.

Compared to our last vist, port was clean and did not smell. Downtown shopping area appeared to be cleaner.

Pros: Easy check in and check out.
