Carnival Paradise

4 Night Baja Mexico (Los Angeles Roundtrip)

Sail date: July 17, 2006

Ship: Carnival Paradise

Cabin type: Inside

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 14 years ago

Review summary

The ship had enough going on that it made it easy to find things to do. The layout of the ship was good, although they need more elevators (one of them was broken).

Ports of call

Ensenada, Mexico

3 out of 5
Not a lot to see in Ensenada unless you just want to get hammered and see cheap silver.
Don't Miss: We went horseback riding, which was fun.

Catalina Island, California

3 out of 5
We had a lot of fun on Catalina...although since it is a soft dock it takes a while to get off the ship if you aren't up early
Don't Miss: We went Para-Sailing...which wasn't offered from the ship's activities

Pros: Lots of stuff to do...

Cons: Drinks are expensive and the Sail and Sign card makes it easy to spend a lot of $$$
