Review summary

Cruise was good for the most part, the people serving were great, the comedy club was hilarious, and the food at the steak house was incredible. The food however at the regular restaurant was hit or miss. And most of the food served throughout the day was very subpar. While the Carnival Cruise line did their best to accommodate the fact that they had to fix the ship a week before setting sail? It would have been nice to see some extra discounts or some kind of extra bonus. All in all, this was my first cruise and I'd like to go again sometime, but it might be with another cruise line just to try them out.

Ship tip

The Alchemy Bar is a great place to get a drink. The best food is in the steak House. The regular food is kind of like cafeteria food.

Tampa, Florida

Cool port. The aquarium is right next to the port and a great place to visit. Other areas of Tampa were great I'm sure, but we were there because the boat was needing fixed right before we embarked.

Great place. Don't pay for a beach excursion. Just grab the local bus and drive to the Marriott hotel. It's a great place to stay on the beach at.

The best excursion on the whole trip was, "La Casa En La Playa" for adults only. You get to another, drink, and eat authentic delicious food.

I checked, there is no Guys Burgers. We are thinking of changing because not as many good places to eat on this ship. It’s a little smaller ship

They fixed the ship prior to you boarding. Why do you think you would need extra bonus or discount? Did whatever they fix break again and disrupt a part of your sailing?
