Review summary

This was my big 40 bday gift- definately a beautiful gift. Ship was very well organized, food was delicious, service overall was very good. Interesting how scaled back Carnival is getting with supplies though...whether it's those little mints on the pillow (left us only on the first night) or soaps etc. We had a VIP suite which was beautiful, and an amazing balcony view. Trip to Bermuda was very rocky both ways. Wonder if that's just the Atlantic waters or the steering.

Dining was great for the daily, but we didn't see much variety on the day-to-day buffet, and they don't have much of a "midnight buffet".

Entertainment

Good shows. They had technical difficulties on 2 shows though and they seemed a bit disorganized. Leaves a lot of room to be desired.

Children's Programs

Both my 10 and 13 year old were super involved- barely saw them the whole cruise. Definately a good program for the kids to be involved in.

Service and Staff

Very friendly staff, our head waiter was super courteous and just very involved- seemed sincere too.

Decor was all about the movies and fame. Too much glamour and glitz for me, but I can see how that would be appealing.

Beaches...yes, it's pink sand! Horse shoe bay is their best beach, but don't bother taking their buses, it's worth a cab ride not to have to wait 55 minutes for the bus just to have them leave you on the curb because they're over stuffed!
