Review summary
Booked an extended Balcony Suite on the 8th level. Room was very clean, balcony really extended. Nice size of both. The room service was out of this world. Decided to mostly dine in the Horatio's buffet-style restaurant. Food was abundand, but average. Plenty of deserts, but unfortunatelly not enough healthy choices. I would have liked to see more vegetables and whole grains like muesli and different whole grain breads with every meal. my son -14- signed up for the Teen-club but did not really like it. The gym is great, located on the top of the enclosed floors, forward. Overlooking the ocean. Unfortunatelly we had rough seas the first 4 days, so the top exterior levels (basket ball court and mini golf) were closed due to safety reasons. So was the water slide. With those activities not possible, my teenager got bored fast. Other than the organized club, there is not too much to do for kids. The center pools are kid friendly, but one of them hosts daily activities and music, which is too loud to even have a conversation. We did not watch an evening show, so I can't review them, but rather chose to play cards at the stern bar. Which was nice, too since we love the open. The bar keepers are incredible, very attentive and even remember, what your favorite drink is.Ship experiences
