The cruise itself was enjoyable and we would consider going out of Norfolk again, we wouldn’t get the same cabin and we hope the service on board would be better staffed as time goes by.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
The city of Norfolk could do a better job of embarkation by having a satellite “drop off” down at Harbor Park with a shuttle service to take you to the terminal. This way the debarking pick up and embarking drop off don’t clog up the streets in front of the cruise terminal.

Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Bar service in open areas while enjoying the music around the ship in the evening was pitiful, very short staffed if available or you had to go to a bar for a drink before finding your seat to enjoy the entertainment.
Our cabin 6507 steward Oliver was the best cabin steward taking great care of all our needs.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
An older ship always can use some sprucing up but it was very enjoyable
Cabin / Stateroom
1 out of 5
Cabin was the worst we have ever had! Every night we were invaded by the base of music somewhere on the ship going until early morning, sometimes so loud it would vibrate the walls! If you complain they are not going to stop the music entertainment on the ship. The cabin was kept clean and anything we requested Oliver our steward took care of everything.
Ship tip
Do not get cabin 6507 on the very back of the ship
Needing wheelchair assistance to get off the ship was not executed properly. The gentleman taking you information at the designated location was taking your request as you arrived he would write down your room number and nothing else. He didn’t take into consideration if you had number 1 tags on your luggage or number 20. It didn’t make any sense because if you had number 20 and were first to Check-in you would be first out and your luggage wouldn’t be in place. He should have been going by arrival AND luggage tag number! Also, only having one working elevator to take all the guests that can not use an escallator create a massive back up with some people having st stand in line, over a half hour or mor, which was very difficult for some people with serious disabilities. The city knew when the ship was returning and should of had the elevator repaired before arrival.escalator
