Dining room food and staff were excellent, however, the breakfast meal was boring having always the same food. The egg Benedict was not serviced properly as the eggs were hard and no sauce. Half the time they did not serve bacon, saying there was a world pig shortage. The water and tea had a bad after taste and it greatly distracted from the meal being served.

Onboard Activities

Too many bingo and game shows, playing to a over 70 crowd. The comedian presented was a 2 out of ten. How does such a low rated entertainer get selected? Where were the Broadway type shows, dancing and singers. Just boring stuff.

Since you have no cruises listed and no pre-cruise posts made, I will guess this is your first cruise and you assumed it would be like an all inclusive resort. Not every ship has the abilities to do a single cruise long Broadway style play offering and most have more of a set of Vegas review or tribute type of shows that rotate during 5 of the 7 nights in a week. As of right now because of crew quarantine and foreign port crew regulations the normal switch offs for comedians and specialty acts are not happening. Due to Covid many ports have little to offer in the way of anything else other than beaches, water sport tours, and resort for day excursions, perhaps waiting till there are no more restrictions due to the pandemic before cruising again.

I think until this whole crazy situation calms down a bit we have to make allowances and recognise that everyone is doing their best but some things will not be the way they were pre-Pandemic. If this was a first cruise for you then maybe expectations were too high given the current climate, hopefully if you cruise again in future it’ll meet your expectations more
