So great to be back on a cruise. We had been booked for 2020 and rebooked for Jan 2021 and rebook for Aug 2021, so we were totally ready. Originally booked on a smaller ship and then Carnival change the ship to the Magic. So desperate to get back on board, so I will discount the front room, even though I know better. BUT IT was a GREAT cruise with a GREAT crew

Service and food were great - no issues at all. Service was most outstanding. the scaff was as happy to see us as we were to see them

low crowds and lots of empty chairs
Entertainment
5 out of 5
enjoyed the music and watching the games being played
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
staff was great - morning coffee was on time ever day and staff everywhere was great. some of the best service we have ever had
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
My only issue with the ship is the "holding pen" outside the main dinning room. as we were in the main floor ( deck 3) rear dinning room, when you come out you must either take the elevators or steps as there is no walk through to another section of the ship. With my husband in a wheelchair, that eliminates the stairs, so this was the only time we would have to really wait on the elevators and as always, some guest do not understand the concept of wait your turn. - As for cleanliness, the ship was what I would call spotless. A BIG plus for me was the totally non smoking casino on the floor below the smoking casino. It was great and had all the upstairs casino had except the nasty smoke. !
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
accessible cabin as husband is in a wheelchair and does not walk at all. Size of the room was great and he had room to move and turn the chair, Bathroom was great, no issues there. Balcony was totally useless, as we managed to get him out onto it one time, after moving all the chairs and tables, but there was no room to turn or move in anyway. He had to back into the room, same way he came out. Balcony is NOT accessible. Also as the room is in the front, there was a LOT of bouncing, especially at night when trying to sleep, We bounced so hard several times I thought my husband had fallen out of bed.
Ship tip
Ship has lot of great features, but stay away form the front rooms.
one of the easiest disembarkations we have ever done. Waited for our number to be called and then headed off. New system now where we did not even have to present our passports
