Review summary

I will NOT do another Carnival Cruise. We were self assist and were told we could walk off starting at 7:30. So very unorganized we finally got off the ship 9:45. I have been on multiple RCI Oasis class ships and the disembarkation process is much better. The bed would not stay together. The music at the pool was elevator music. The food was average at best. The shows were terrible. The only saving grace for the entire 7 days was three wonderful couples we met at dinner. Back to Royal Caribbean.

Not Carnivals fault when it comes to getting off the ship. Customs controls that.

Carnival clears people off ships faster than any cruise line. What you may have experienced could be related to Miami port which is our least favorite port b

Was on the same cruise. If you followed the instructions on disembarkation it started at 7:30, depending on the deck level. Upper levels being called first. I was off ship in less than 30 minutes. Self assisted.

Thanks for not taking another Carnival Cruise. Another person which lives in a pictunre purfect world. You apparently cruise for the wrong reason. Open up and enjoy the real world.

Agree everyone has different opinions! Been on multiple carnival cruises and 3 RCL and besides the entertainment on the newer ships food was much better with much more choices on Carnival!!!

Please go on another Carnival Cruise. They will make it right, they always send their dissatisfied cruisers to a baseball game, it's fun and free. You will be able to see the Nads play and you can yell Go Nads, never mind oh well

Hey guy's be cool, everyone has their own expectations I personally love carnival but I've also had some negative experiences with them, yet I only will sail with them because my good ones outweigh the bad ones, but were all like that we all have our preferences. And we see bailey728 has his and I'd feel the same if I sailed carnival and went on a princess cruise, it's just not my thing. More power to bailey for recognizing what he likes and he is entitled to his likes and dislikes and we have our likes and dislikes, but like everyone else I sailed on the magic for her 1st anniversary with my wife and son and had a blast and felt like a kid all over.

We were on the magic in may. Had fttf self debarked and we were on the shuttle bus by 7:45. Did you try to cut lines bailey728? We did see some that tried to cut ahead and staff actually called them out and moved them to the back of the line. Did you tell your room steward about the bed and give them a chance to fix it or had you decided right from the start nothing was going to meet your standards. Glad you’re going back now I won’t wonder if we meet your expectations on our next cruise

The Magic is my favorite ship! Never had a bad experience. Everyones different though so for those planning a trip dont b scared off most reviews of the Magic r wonderful. Its ur vacation it will b whatever YOU make it. Happy cruising 🛳🍹🏖

I've been on the Magic twice and going again in Dec. Never had a problem disembarking with self assist. And I don't know what your idea of elevator music, but it's always been rockin' when I was onboard. You are the first person I've seen complaining Carnival was too mellow🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's not for everyone that's for sure. Your most surprising comment was the pool music though. It was anything but elevator music when we were on board and way to loud for our taste

We had not cruised with Carnival since 2010 and thought we would try again as well. I was so hoping we would have a better experience. By the way the internet was so poor they gave my money back.

This makes me nervous. I said the same after our cruise with Carnival a few years ago and I have decided to try them again on the Magic to be able to go back to Grand Turk and experience HMC.
