Cruising isnt what it used to be

The quality of everything has declined over the years. This being our 10th cruise we aren't new to carnival or cruising. We found the deck music annoying as we come on vacation to the Caribbean to feel the vibes of the caribbean, not listen to hip hop music popular at weddings. What happened to good old fashioned calypsi music which truly gives you a Caribbean feel? The food was mediocre at best. Pretty much the same food all week long, 50 ways to make chicken, etc.. It took us 1 hr 45 min to get our food in the dining room for dinner one night. Ridiculous! Elizabeth at the piano bar is AWESOME!! So was the sixappeal band and the ladies playing strings. The cruise director was super annoying. We loved the island buggy tour at grand Turk. Was worth the money, we did the beach escape open bus tour in Curacao, was a waste of money. Beach was nice but only got to spend an hr 1/2 there for $50 per person. Cruising is still a good way to vacation but it's not what it used to be.
