Had a great time! Carnival is a great cruise line, and they really go out of their way to make sure people have a great time.

Food and Dining

The food was definitely one of my favorite things of this cruise. I consider myself a foodie, and the food was awesome. I ate in the main dining room for dinner every night, and I had the Buffet for lunch twice. Awesome food. Not only was the food in the main dining room exquisite, but so was the staff and entertainment during the dinner portion of the evening.
Onboard Activities

There was definitely plenty to do to keep you occupied on this cruise. The only issue that I had was that there were not enough pools and hot tubs to go around. I didn’t get in the pool or the hot tub once, and I wanted to. Unfortunately, the hot tubs were full of people day and night. There was no room for me, or any of my friends and family. I must admit that was aggravating. I was surprised that there were so limited a number of pools and hot tubs. For a ship of 3000 people there should be multiple decks of both.
Entertainment

I went to one comedy show at 11:30 pm, and the comedy was OK (not great), but I think what I found most annoying was the behavior of the other guests. Holding loud conversations while the show was going on, getting up and leaving and coming back in the entire time, etc.

Service and Staff

Some of the best treatment I’ve received in a long time. Just when you think customer service is dead, not on a carnival cruise ship. Everyone was super friendly, and just made my experience so pleasant. And it seemed genuinely authentic too.

Cabin / Stateroom

For an interior cabin, I was pleasantly surprised with the space and the comfort of the beds. The only issue I had was the fact that there was only one plug in the entire room! Definitely not enough for two people to charge their stuff, plug-in curling irons and hairdryers, etc. There should be at least two plugs.
Ship tip
Bring a six way plug if you want to be able to plug-in multiple items in your room. Definitely be sure to eat dinner in the main dining room every night. It is quite the experience. If you drink alcohol, buy the drink package.
We got a villa at Pearl Island. Pearl Island is definitely worth visiting. It was absolutely gorgeous, the weather was beautiful, and the staff made it a pleasant and fun experience. I went snorkeling, and absolutely loved it. There were also many other things to do on Pearl Island that we did not do, like swimming with the pigs, jet boat rides, kayaking, paddle boards. Great view from the lighthouse and the water is everything you would expect from a tropical Caribbean island. But would definitely go back again.
I've found secret plugs in some cabins. In the ceiling of the bathroom and behind the TV. That isn't always the case, but check it out next time. Glad you had a fabulous time
