Review summary

This was a party cruise l, which isn't something we wanted. Between rude bartenders, smelly hallways, and lack of attention from the staff when my husband got pushed down the stairs from someone's kid...too noisy.

Mostly clean, but there was a raw sewage smell in the hallways to the staterooms

Ship tip

Don't. The boat is older and if you are just wanting to party the whole time, then this is for you. We wanted to relax and couldn't find anywhere on the ship that was quiet except for our room.

You should try a 7+ day cruise instead of 3 days, you will have a different experience. Hope your husband is ok. Thank you for your review.

I've sailed Liberty a few times and can say that the 4 day Mon thru Thurs sailings are much quieter than the 3 day Fri thru Sun ones. The difference is night and day with the 3 day being a more rowdy booze cruise which I wouldn't do again.

Sorry you had a bad experience, but a little research would've helped you avoid it. Short weekend cruises are almost always just booze/party cruises, especially Carnival, which is known for being a party ship anyway.
