the state rooms should have not been placed at the elevators

The overall comfort level is extremely poor. Unfortunately, the assigned state room is situated right next to the elevator lobby. Despite attempts to address the issue, the cabin door remained faulty (despite offered assistance, suggested solutions such as adding padding proved ineffective). Consequently, I had to endure constant traffic from the entire cruise. Being located on the main deck, where all the food and activities are concentrated, meant that people were consistently passing by my cabin. This continuous presence resulted in a never-ending stream of voices and elevator dings, robbing me of peace both day and night. Consequently, I was unable to get sufficient sleep and had to forego participating in any activities in order to catch some rest during the day. Regrettably, as a first-time cruiser, the overall experience has been overwhelmingly negative and deeply unpleasant. I kindly request that you renovate this cabin to ensure that future guests do not encounter such issues.

make sure you get the right cabin. Check if you are authorized for special dinner and breakfast at the speciality resturants.

port is excellent, the free ride was also good, but should have dropped to beach first instead of going around the city. That is also good, we have seen entire bimini :)

Do not do "assigned room" you always need to pick your own room. When you do this you can see where the elevators etc are and stay away from them. It's an older ship as well, so I would try a newer class ship. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, I would definitely try again. You may like it on your second time around.

When you book your room, it shows the location. It also shows other rooms that are not booked. The itinerary also gives details of all things happening on the ships: dining free and those that costs as well, as activities those that are free and other wise as well.

Do your research. Don't blame the cruise lines for your lack of knowledge. There are plenty of online videos to show you the ropes.
