I have experienced many cruise lines, cruise ships, cruise ports, etc. This was not my worst cruise, but it definitely not my best cruise. For the price, it was ok, but I would definitely recommend a larger and newer ship. The staff was pretty good, so if you are looking for great service, then this cruise is nice. but if you want alittle more of an experience then try a different ship.

The Main dining rooms were pretty good, and the food was decent. I didn't get to have the Buffet because of the lines, but Guy's burger was great and quick.
Onboard Activities

The pools were ok. The pool staff were rude to my children, but it was not too bad. The Slide was horrible. I had to push myself down the slide with my feet, and that turned me off to the slide. No Rock-climbing wall.
Entertainment

I got to enjoy the comedy shows and they were great. Karaoke was cool, but they had a lot of technical difficulties. The DJ was really good and I enjoyed the party on the pool deck.

The servers were great!!!! Our room stewards were awesome. Some of the pool staff were rude but it was cool.
Ship Quality

The Layout was the usual known layout, which works out well. The Ship did not look like it was well maintained, and it definitely showed its age. The Laundry room was terrible. The iron was old and you could tell it was rather cheap, so it did a bad job ironing our clothes. The Dryers were broke down and after 90 minutes my clothes we still wet. IT almost seemed like this ship was on it's last leg and needs a DEFINITE update!!!
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was actually rather comfortable. The bed was soft and relaxing, and the overall appearance of the room was pretty good. Our room stewards were great and kept our room clean.
Ship tip
Don't set your expectations of the ship too high. There are things that will disappoint you but, make the best out of your experience and find out what part of the ship makes you happy.
Glad you mostly enjoyed the cruise. Research your ship’s options and activities so you won’t be disappointed in the future. Every ship is different and every cruise line is different. No rock walls on Carnival like there are no roller coasters on RCL. Hope your next is better
We booked this cruise as a relax and get away! Already set a lower expectation since I’m almost above Platinum status on RCl !! Its ok you make your cruise what you want. Of course we are older so going down the slide lol wont be happening with us!! Lol we do know of long lines to get food. You either are early or late. Our cruise is just after school starts here in Florida (10 Aug school) our cruise is Aug 14!!! Maybe slacking on all the kids? Thanks for the heads up! Book another cruise have fun!
