Review summary

Completely uncomfortable the entire time. Hard to get food since lines were way too long. Way too overcrowded with people and not able to use the hot tub or pools because there was just no room. Horrible experience with this cruise line and I highly doubt I’ll ever go with another carnival one ever again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Steakhouse and staff were the best part of our cruise. Hands down! Food was amazing and we loved the staff.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Couldn’t enjoy a thing. Way too packed with people and couldn’t even use the pool for my children.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Couldn’t really stay in anything since we didn’t have room anywhere with our family.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
They said staff was rude to children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward, restaurant staff and any we came across was amazing. The only good thing about this cruise plus the steak house food and staff.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Clean for the most part. Surprising that the staff could keep up with a packed out ship like that. Never should have that many people on a small ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Small. Bed was ok

Ship tip

Don’t do it!

We did Margaritaville. Unfortunately we dealt with rain but otherwise it was fun for the kids.

It amazes me that people book a 3 or 4 day party cruise during spring break and then complain that it was crowded with too many kids. What do they expect? I'm on the Carnival Pride now and yes it's crowded and yes there's a lot of kids but I knew that when I booked. It's not going to stop me from enjoying the cruise.

Our cruise on the Horizon the first of February seemed overbooked and understaffed. Wasn't a big fan of anytime dining either. Wait, staff was awesome, but with new people every meal, who do ya tip?

Appreciate your feedback. Cruising during Spring Break is bound to be crowded. Sorry you were disappointed.
