With it being our first time. It was a great experience.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was easy when you have everything in order and ready to go. Just remember when you print out documents that's all the barcodes print too.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food everywhere, so delicious. The buffets tend to move slower due to the amount of people utilizing them but the selects where great. Dining rooms and specialty restaurant were wonderful. Especially the specialty dining, the chefs and staff their were my favorite.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There were plenty of activities and not enough time.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The entertainment was to die for. Adam (our cruise director) and his fun crew were really great. They were full of energy and excitement.
Children's Programs
Didn't have children with us on this cruise.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Majority of the ships staff made me feel closer to my mother. My mother was Filipino and all the Filipino staff felt like home. Especially our room steward Vergelio. Beside providing great service he also provided great friendship. Asking how I was feeling every day after I told him about my motion sickness fear on the first day. Always willing to talk or listen. He was a really great guy.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The layout of the ship was confusing the first day. But after wards I was able to manage and give directions like I worked there myself. The staff was always on top of keeping everything clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Loved our cabin. Especially the balcony. There was plenty of room for all of our things.
Ship tip
Don't over pack. A lot of the essentials are provided for you on the ship. Be prepared to bring an extra small travel bag or pay for that extra bag to bring home, because the amount of souvenirs you may want to bring back can overwhelm you.
We took the time to come in early before out boat sailed out. Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach still had beautiful sites and shops even with the passing of a harsh hurricane few days prior.
This was a very busy port with lots of stores to shop if you love to shop and find those rare items and inexpensive items. We did a short tour excursion that could have been a bit longer. Our tour guide was very informative. Oh but make sure you try the local dish, cranked conk was my absolute favorite on the island.
Beautiful island with clear blue waters. Remember sunscreen, sunscreen is your best friend. The food provided at this port was okay. Nothing really stuck out as to say yes I want more. Unless you get the cranked conk, now that I can eat all day.
Disembarking is easy, again if you are prepared ahead of time. Make sure you pay your ships balance if you have one, but if you associate a credit card to your room then there is no worries about having to pay your bills and standing in a very long line at guest services.
Welcome to the wonderful world of cruising. I enjoy reading first time cruiser’s review, because it reminds me of things that are special to cruising that I’ve come to take for granted. Glad you enjoyed your cruise!
