Review summary

We love the ship, the crew, and the service. We hate the internet, the fact that we have to pay for something that should be considered a necessity, and the fact that it hardly works the way it should. For a service that provides Carnival with $20,000 to over $50,000 A DAY for EACH SHIP, the results should be a lot better. This is an issue with ALL cruise lines.

Embarkation

Since we are Platinum cruisers with Carnival, we were able to get to our room as soon as we got on board. Love that.

Food and Dining

We only ate at the main dining room and at the buffet, though we did use the Deli, which is inside the buffet. All the food was delicious, cooked well and presented beautifully.

Onboard Activities

We only watched movies on the deck at night, no other activities.

Service and Staff

Without a doubt, the staff is exceptional. From the wait staff to the room steward, to the Guest Services staff, everyone was very nice and attentive.

Ship Quality

We love the Carnival Liberty, though we miss the Cloud Nine Spa available on a few of the other ships.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a room with a connecting door, which allowed a lot of the noise from the other cabin to be heard on our side.

Ship tip

If possible, do not buy the internet package. We got the most expensive package and could not connect over half the time.

Leave the phone in the safe and enjoy the cruise, the fact that you need it to see activity's is wrong. All cruise lines should go back to a paper copy and a printed menu.
