Review summary

I took a Carnival Cruise in the 90s and was not impressed. This time I had a blast! The ship was colorful and noisy but there were places to escape and have peace. Really something for everyone, except maybe cruise snobs. I didn't miss them!

My only complaint about Carnival is that the food is mediocre (with the exception of Guy Fieri's Burger Stand!) It was all edible though and worth the price I paid! Alcohol was very expensive, but if it weren't, people would have been way too drunk. Take advantage on the allowance of a bottle of wine or champagne to be carried on at embarkation.

My third time there. I did a Nassau history bus tour with Atlantis stop that I bought through Priceline and it was good. My best excursion ever though was Pearl Island.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

Cruise ship private islands are all pretty much the same, but it's all about having a giant cocktail and getting into the ocean in a beautiful setting. Mission accomplished! I wish I had brought an underwater mask to look at the fish.
