Review summary
This cruise has had me change my mind about Carnival Cruise Lines it’s very sad because this was my third cruise and I probably would’ve continued on for future vacations but I feel like I was swindled I feel like they nickeled and dimed me as much as they possibly could taking advantage, in the casino the slot machines were way too expensive,not enough $.25 slot machines $1-$5 for the double diamond or the black jack machines,game arcade room for the kids $1.50 to play one game and then the toys or prizes that they get are trash that you wouldn’t even be able to buy at the dollar store. I plan on telling everybody I know about it I also plan on making a post and TikTokEmbarkation
We had all our paperwork and identification to get on the boat we got on I took two steps onto the boat and a man shoved a drink cup in my hand and a pen in the other and said sign sign sign three times I was kind of discombobulated and confused and I just signed it I bought a drink That I didn’t want or ask for

Food and Dining
The food in the dining room was only okay what was leftover was served on the Buffet The next day for lunch it was the same meal choices every day on the Buffet I ordered an espresso martini with Tito‘s vodka at the casino bar and the bartender told me that he could only do it with Stoli vodka and I said I had it last night and the night before and there wasn’t a problem I’d really prefer Titos vodka please and he told me it would cost $40 if he made it for one drink so I said no I’ll just get it at another bar and I went down to the front desk told them about it they said they would give me a free drink voucher and to use the bar in the main lobby I use that bar and the free drink ticket didn’t cover the full price of a drink so I had to pay the remaining balance.
Onboard Activities
We enjoyed the shows I just think it was kind of funny when she started to sing the titanic song slightly in poor taste to sing about a cruise ship that goes down but funny the trivia games were a lot of fun the pool was small of course but the slide was good the kids went down at like 10 times in a row Also we were in the gift shop and half of the glasses and souvenirs said Cancun on them but we were going to the Bahamas and the T-shirts on sale were from Christmas time it’s July
Entertainment
The shows were a little weird and they didn’t put any on during the day for families the show called flick was a little weird just look like some random homeless guy following all the dances around on stage and singing a song from the titanic…eek
Children's Programs
I have two girls and I took them to the camp for their ages when I went in the lady let me know that they did not have the children sign in and sign out that she did not watch them come or go they were free to leave if they wanted to and I’m not really interested in letting my kids roam a cruise ship by themselves if they weren’t having a good time in there and couldn’t get a hold of me The only thing they had in the room anyways was about four or five TVs or computers to play video games which is pretty much what that age group is interested in but on a cruise ship and maybe some thing else for them to do
Service and Staff
I’m want to give 5 stars for our waiter at dinner he was fun and entertaining and he got my kids going They had smiles on their faces the steward of our room was very pleasant very nice woman but on the last day we were to be out of our room by 8:30 in the morning she knocked on our door at around seven I told her we would be up and out by 830 at around 730 she knocked and opened the door and said oh sorry I didn’t hear you in here there’s two kids, there was a lady with a table set up in the hallway on the way to the pool who was trying to get people to come up to the spa when I wasn’t interested in getting a massage and was walking away to go to the pool she said oh wait you should buy this cream for your dark circles and bags under your eyes. I was like no I’m good thanks anyways walked halfway down the hallway towards the pool and she yells down you really should come upstairs for a massage we could help fix your bad posture.I just told her that her hands are not capable of fixing the years of poor posture in one massage but thank you anyways,very rude also went up to a bar at the pool the red frog one of my children wanted a virgin mudslide and the bartender made her one that was very good and then my second daughter decided she wanted one too went back to the same bar but different bartender had no idea how to make one
Ship Quality
The stairs around the pool are actually cracked the wood is splitting The front lobby looked nice I liked the funky chandelier but you can definitely tell that this is an older boat paint was chipping in certain areas unclean smell by the ice cream dispensers
Cabin / Stateroom
It was small but it was what we expected it said that we would have a small porthole but we didn’t have that and that was fine the bathroom floor sunk down and creaked when stepped on it made me a little nervous about putting my weight on the floor near the shower but overall it just seemed dated but clean I don’t know who picked the art in the room very weird
Ship tip
Don’t do it it’s a scam it’s nothing like the carnival cruises that I took in the past and has actually changed my mind to tell people to never take a carnival cruise

Ports of call
We did excursion to the pool and the beach area it was separate from the casino hotel and souvenir shops but that was OK because there was a tram the only thing with that was we tried to leave the pool beach area to go check out the casino and buy some souvenirs and the tram didn’t show up for 45 minutes Security was radioing overhead they had the manager that was running the beach pool area trying to get a hold of the tram people,there were so many people waiting, we were so nervous that we wouldn’t make it back to the ship in time that we just went straight back to the ship.
