Glad the escalator was working this time!! Last time at this port they were broken. Off to a great start, we signed up to get tested at the port. While in line I realize I left my phone in the car and had to get out of line. My family waited in line for their test I was hoping that I would be able to rejoin them? Nope!! I had to wait in line again for about 25mins. You have to be manually walked to the testing area and that person has to check you in with testing crew. That’s was unfortunate because my family was waking in the testing booth as I waited in line to be checked in to test. Got test checked in and we were on the ship!!

The food quality from the buffet has gone down, the food was bland and some of it was just plain nasty. I stuck with yogurt and cereal for breakfast. Guy’s, the seafood shack and the pizza pirate were good.

Great food even though the (one) guy making it couldn’t follow directions. I simply took off the items I asked him not to put on my sandwich.

I wish I wrote his name down the guy serving the casino floor drinks was always on point. He made sure my glass was never empty!! When I would come back the next day he was there reciting my folio number back to me. Zack our room tech was great always going the extra mile!! We left him and his crew a nice tip!
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was beautiful and that’s were it ended!! Seems like we felt every wave!! The room was often vibrating and sometimes shaking! The a/c barely blow out any air and the refrigerator keep our drinks nice and warm. I mentioned this to Zack and he said he would inform maintenance. Buy the end of the trip the fridge got a tad colder but the a/c never reached cold. If we weren’t traveling with our adult kids I would have been walking around the cabin in my tightly whities!!! I believe this room is directly over the engines. It was like trying to sleep in a bed that you had to add quarters too! Also sometimes in the bathroom it would smell like a sewer system.
Ship tip
Stay away from the 2 floor aft port window rooms. Lots of vibrating and shaking coming from down below
We were one of the last people of the ship I thought we could hang out breakfast until 9:30. They kindly asked us to get our behinds off the ship. We didn’t really think we were some of the last ones on the ship until we got our bags!! Only about 10 bags remained. I guess it’s different when you Drive to the port? Normally we try to be the first ones of the ship to catch our flight.
I have to agree..... Guess they are trying to save money from being shut down but the food was horrible....even the dining room portions went way down....this made me switch to Princess for our next cruise after 11 straight with Carnival
