The ship setup was not user friendly, there weren't enough bartenders at any of the bars, smoking in the Casino was overwhelming and affected my pulmonary issues, (which left me sick when I got home) waiting was ridiculous (the deli had 2 people working it and the line was very long and the food we got wasn't even the right food!), Versailles pool chairs were too close together to walk between to set up towels and things, no room to put a drink down, towels were rough, not soft and there was not conditioner with the shampoo

Food and Dining

Not enough bartenders at the bars (all of them), always had to wait quite awhile to get a drink; the food came out wrong and cold, in the restaurant. The buffet was okay, needed more staff. Bartenders not friendly
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
There was little advertising as to what was going on and the daily program was not user friendly. We missed all the shows, didn't even know where the stage was!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The band Music and Magic (Ray and Merilyn) were the best thing on the ship. Their music had me up daning and enjoying myself. They were worth the whole trip, They even came around during their breaks to meet everyone and thanked us for coming to the show and they remembered you at their next show.
Children's Programs
Teenagers running around the ship ~ YUCK!!
Service and Staff

The waiter for our two large tables wasn't able to handle the load. He brought out the wrong food and it was cold, people at the table had to wait for the potatoe toppings and by the time they got them the potatoe was cold. The Waiter wasn't very friendly. The Steward was very friendly, remembered our names after the first introduction. She brought us whatever we wanted and the room was always clean. The towels were very rough on the skin and there was no conditioner with the shampoo
Ship Quality

I didn't like the fact that the entertainment was at the Casino Bar which was a walkway for passengers (so it was not user friendly for dancing) and we had to smell the smoke from the Casino. I don't think the maps by the elevators or on the handout were user friendly. I have been on larger ships and knew the layout by the second day, not with this ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

The balony was a good size and the beds were amazingly comfortable
Ship tip
Stay out of the Casino. It was too smokey and for people like myself that have pulmonary issues it was unbearable. I wanted to gamble but because of the smoke I had to leave. I had to use my inhaler twice after returning from the casino. I have been sick for 5 days now due to respiratory issue. I cannot believe that Carnival would not have either two casinos, one for smokers and one for non -smokers or have a non-smoking area in the casino. The non-smoking area at the Casino bar was a joke!! Worst experience ever on a cruise and I've cruised many, probably last Carnival I'll ever take
Hate that you had a bad time. Liberty is one of my favs. Hard to believe you didn't know what was going on with MarQ as the CD. Smoking is that bad on all Carnivals unfortunately. I'm allergic to smoke. Almost ruined my honeymoon, but I knew to just steer clear there was other stuff to do.
