Having cruised the Liberty before I found the experience as a whole to be lacking this time but we still had a good time

Dinner in the main dining room was very good the two nights we are there and our servers were spectacular! The lido buffets are pretty good but the selections seem to be less than our other cruise experiences. We are in the steakhouse the first night and the experience was awful. Tiny portions. Most of the entrees we received were cooked incorrectly. Undercooked meat, burnt sides, misleading menu choices and it took an hour to receive our entrees after our appetizers. We complained immediately to guest services and it took 2 days and 2 restaurants executives to get it resolved.

Our favorite thing all weekend was the men’s hairy chest contest. Hilarious!

Lady Red in the piano bar was fabulous as was the entertainment in the atrium. We were not impressed with the Rock Anthems show and left after 5 minutes.

Our waitstaff in the main dining room were amazing. Thank you Jason and Florica! Our room steward Ansbr was awesome as well! The staff in the steakhouse needs to be better trained. They seemed to be new and unsure.

The Liberty was very clean and we had no complaints with the cleanliness of the ship. There has to be a better way to get from deck 6 to the YTD entrance to the main dining room. We spent 20 minutes trying to find where to enter the first time we ate in there
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin layout was perfectly fine for 2 single ladies but Carnival really needs to add more outlets to the staterooms. One outlet is not enough by any stretch of the imagination for this day and age where there are multiple electronic devices that need to be charged. One outlet is ridiculous
Ship tip
The ship overall had a lot to offer and we did have a good time on this 3 day sailing. Always approach a cruise with the mindset that you are going to have fun.
We did not purchase an excursion but spent our day shopping at the straw market and Nassau Harley Davidson. Senior Frogs was a fun atmosphere. We hired a driver to take us to a few places not in walking distance but keep in mind when you do this that there are places they will take you because it is their friend’s or they get some kind of compensation for bringing tourists. We asked to go to a locals spot for conch salad not a tourist spot for this local dish and the driver ended up taking us to a place that caters to tourists. The conch salad was good but we wanted a more locally authentic experience
