Review summary

This was the first cruise for my teenage children I decided to do a cruise because the all inclusiveness of it and very disappointed with all the extra cost. Soda should be included, coffee as well, I enjoy a cocktail from time to time so I wouldn't need to buy a package that gives me 15 drink so offer smaller packages.

Ship tip

I like the app to be able to communicate with family member. I would suggest being able to connect to minors family members to help out. I was unable to connect to my grandson, with that app should be able to connect to other family members in other cabins.

Coffee is included unless you want the "Starbucks " expensive stuff. Also agree if this is your 5th cruise you'd know soda isn't included. Also, the food isn't an added cost if you stay away from the specialty restaurants. I don't think you really are a seasoned cruiser if this all is a surprise to you.

Surprised that you didn’t know soft drinks were not included with this being your 5th cruise. Using the Hub App we have been able to connect with everyone who was also on the app. You can buy a Bubbles package that is reasonably inexpensive if one drinks a lot of soft drinks. We also found the drink package more expensive than what we needed. So buying drinks as we go is cost effective and we don’t over indulge. Sorry you were disappointed.

Make sure you suggest a smaller package on your feedback to Carnival. They won’t get the message from this website/app.

Ah! It’s good to read over the beverage policy. You can bring your own canned soda... coffee is available & included; but specialty coffee is not. With the app, anyone who gets it can connect, even others on the ship who have it. Just have to have their folio # or name to request. It is harder with little ones, if they don’t have a phone. The app didn’t exist when I started cruising just six years ago, and I would just run into my kids from time to time, or set a designated time to meet.
