Thanksgiving Bahamas Cruise. Our family had a wonderful first time cruise. The food was great, the shows and events on board were loads of fun, and Nassau was beautiful! The staff were super helpful and courteous. We will definitely cruise again!

Review summary

All in all, the cruise was wonderful. We are already planning our next one. For a vacation, this I definitely the way to go! Everything is included! No need to go out to eat or drive around. The kids can do their thing, while mom and dad have adult time and then come back together for family fun. We are truly impressed and sharing with everyone!

Ship tip

Carnival Liberty is a great family ship, but it also has a couple of Over 21 areas, if you want to get away from the kids.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Nassau was beautiful. You just have to learn the words, "no thank you" and repeat them often, as the street people will try to sell you something every 5 feet. Paradise Island was gorgeous, although the beach had very high and choppy waves. Junkanoo Beach was much calmer and less crowded. The carriage tour was lots of fun and informative!

Disembarkation

I think it MarQ had planned it very well. He had planned to call each deck level down to embark. However, other staff members told guests that they could go early or late, no matter when their deck level was called. It wound up being a mad house and took a LONG time, as the elevators were packed and the lines were long! Hopefully, this can be corrected.
